I met Soriya recently and we chatted in a local convenience store, where there is some background noise. Also, her English isn’t really great but it seems that things went south when her relationship didn’t work out.

She sells things from a blanket on the floor. While arranging the interview and I asked her what times she sets up she said that it’s randomly, when she has no money, then admitted it’s if she needs meth.

The main thing that strikes me talking to her is that she has no plan whatsoever. It seems she hasn’t considered any alternatives and doesn’t expect any assistence at all. Maybe she’s been to beaten down, or the situation really is unchanging, she clearly doesn’t expect intervention or help. That could be due to lack of education or simply the way things actually are.
