Mission

I want to publish the stories of some of the amazing people I know (and have known) in Phnom Pehn and Cambodia. Some of these friends live (hard) lives the like of which many people in the West have no idea exists. Many of my friends are wholly over-looked by the larger society (as am I in some ways) and are eager for their (ongoing) story to be online, although they cannot post or write due to poverty and/or illiteracy.
I know many friends have some dreams which are often quite well formulated in their mind. As I write about them, I hope some of these dreams can take practical shape and perhaps I can arrange direct funding, and then follow the ongoing developments. If this is successful, my stretch goal is a hostel for the ‘homeless’ that is beyond identity, based on minimalism and equality, where there doesn’t have to be a distinction between homeless, housed and minimalist, rich, poor and simplicity embraced, alone, together and an intentional community. No ID card will be required, not only because many people I know do not have and cannot get this, but also, identity can be left at the doorstep. Why is a refuge based on simplicity, work and community only for the homeless, and those in the shadows?
The shadows come from ourselves.
